the phone itself is 3x faster then the 3G.

Apple are showing it as being 'up to 2x faster' - which in real-world tests means 'probably not really up to twice as fast for most things.' Hopefully the web browsing will render as fast as they claim, I don't use anything else on mine that would require extra speed anyway and fucking tower denfense games are hardly processor intensive anyway πŸ˜‰

As for pricing, it's looking expensive here through O2 even with the higher priced tariffs - but at least they're allowing internet teathering now so you can rape their internets.

Still, I'd be a liar if I said I didn't want to be in on Apples new high-profile, under-spec'd lauch of another must-have iProduct.

I wish that were all true but..

The 3Gs will have voice control, video recording a digital compass (which will help with the new official TomTom ap coming out for it) and the phone itself is 3x faster then the 3G.
