<![CDATA[60GB fucked, ask Sony for a Slim?]]>Hi guys.

My 60GB's been playing up and was thinking of asking for a slim, do you think this is wise?

I think the 60GB is worth more, but this would be my 7th replacement though Blu-Ray errors, fan problems, YLOD and now a firmware problem, so I thought f**k the 60GB get a Slim.

Don't know about 40GB, they may give you a 80GB for it, but just tell them you want a Slim as the Slim is the same price as the 80GB anyway.

Just got off the phone to Sony and they're sending a replacement 60GB to me on Wednesday.

I asked for a Slim but apparently they don't have any to replace as the warranty the Slim has is with the shop for 3 months, the guy on the phone said that in maybe 2 months they may start replacing the 60GB with the Slim!

I may sell my 60GB in October and buy a Slim or I could wait and see if it brakes and get a Slim for free. 😛

John lewis price match. Sony Centre do. Gamestation price match with other gaming stores, just not game.

The last thing I got was a free Blu Ray player (that I sold for £160) and 4 free Blu Ray movies with my Bravia from John Lewis.

I also got my other last PS3 replaced 1.5 months out of warranty, plus next day pick up.

I price match alot too between different shops and they always beat the price.
