Vista had a lot of driver problems and compatibility problems that are now mostly fixed in Windows 7. Win 7 also uses less resources.

Recently I played GRID on my HD 4650 and E6750 on Ultra @ 1440x900… It went allright but my fps dipped below 20 sometime πŸ˜› So with the 5770 i would get about 60fps constantly i guess πŸ˜„

I would get your card, then when you get more money upgrade your mobo/RAM/processor/etc. (I was going to do this but just decided to drop all the money and upgrade everything. My i7 eats through HD video rendering.)
