Clowd I know what u mean deus ex was an incredible game but I don't think it's as good as the half life series not for me anyway

that game was just wooooooooooow...some of you might have of been a bit young to have played it in its prime when it first came out..but seriously for the ones that did..you'll know what i mean.. It had it all.. good visuals...Incredible amazing mind destroying story, superb captivating atmosphere..great lines and voice work..and breathtaking music.

Episode 3 is also rumoured to be out late this year early next year i cant wait, but i first have to finish ep1 and play ep 2 i could never really play them cause my pc wasnt good enough =[.
So i have alot to look forward to, gonna finish Half Life 2 for like the 100th time first though lol =]

X-COM UFO Defense. I had it on the Amiga and it sometimes took 45 minutes to load 1 alien turn then I got it on the PS1 and now the PC. Its the only game i've played for over 15 years LOL

i was about 7 when this game came out it was immense i remember it well.
but HL stays at the top for me.

MSG 1 was amazing, loved hiding in boxes;….Huh!!!. Whats that??... Just a box! LOL!!! xD

I've played inFamous before i went onto HL 2 nate thought it was amazing compared to the games im use to playing like Elderscrolls, didnt expect inFamous to be soo big to be honest.

My greatest game EVER! has got to be Metal Gear Solid One. It blew my mind, with its look in the game case for a codec number and swap your controller around to fool PM. MGS4 going back there was amazing too, I was crying.

I think I was 11 when I first played it, after my brother completed it. I completed it a few times to get the stealth suit, bond tux and bandanna.

Great game considering I don't like Japanese games this is the only series I play.

Edit: Oh and their making MGS 1, 2, and 3 in a HD remix for PS3.

I think you will really enjoy InFamous also, let me know how it goes, make sure you play the Uncharted games too..

Dont worry hawkes i wouldnt expect a little boy like yourself to understand i mean your mum was probably still wiping your arse when half life came out.

On the personal idea bronco i dont blame you half life has that for me aswell,
well CS does and DoD (not the source versions) i mean their the places i met alot of my online friends from the years even before LoVeRSaMa, unfortunatly though times change and most of us grew up so not many of us play anymore.

I wouldnt change my life today but the joy it was to be 16 and care free staying up all night playing CS with my mates and just having a laugh =].

Whats your opinion?

Since i've not had my ps3 long i've just been bashing old games, and the other week i saw infamous and the orange box for £20.
Since inFamous 2 comes out this year thought i best play it and thought it was pretty decent.

To get to the point though; the Orange Box.
It's my strong belief that Half - Life 2 and its series of short games after must be the best game ever made. Thats saying alot considering what Half - Life achieved when that came out.
Definatly worth the 6 year wait in my opinion. Even playing it on the ps3 amazes me, nothing like on the pc of course but thats just cause i cant bhop effiecently lol.
Just think its impressive that this game is 6 and a half years old and it still looks incredible.
Dont think i've ever played or owned a game thats as intense as Half - Life, I know everyone says that Dead Space 1 and 2 are extremly scary but i dont think it has anything on Half - Life!
Just standing round a corner terrified of what might be around the other side, no other game has made me feel like that.

IF we are talking personally, I would have to pick Gears of War. This game was my first Xbox 360 game and it has led me into most of the online friendships I currently have on Xbox. Without this game I would not have a lot of these friends whom I now play other games with. It is also a great game and I have thoroughly enjoyed playing it since 2007 when I got it. We still play it to this day.
