A TAXI driver who filmed a man being tasered by police today welcomed an independent inquiry into the incident.
Colin Hedley, a driver with Central Cars, recorded the events on his mobile phone while working in the city centre.
Mr Hedley posted the footage on the web soon after the incident on Upper Parliament Street in front of the Theatre Royal around 12.30am yesterday and handed it to Trent FM.
