Google Wave for SinS

Hey guys, I dunno how many people keep up with new technology and stuff, but there is a new thing called google wave which will basically make programs like MSN, emails and maybe even small forums and stuff obsolete.

However, at the moment google wave is still in a preview stage and is not open to the public. You have to be invited to join the service at the moment and it's not due for release until late next year.
Well guess what? I was invited by a guy in Australia who works for google & have 2 invitations left from the 8 you are given.
Now what I'm thinking is, I give these 2 to SDR and Loversama and then they will have 8 each to give out too.
Then they can give out the 16 to different members of the clan or friends etc who want to join. Then those 16 will have 8 each etc and we could get everyone here on google wave.
Then all we need to do is add each other in our contacts and we're good to go.This is a pretty cool site for adding things like Twitter, wikipedia etc to your waves.

Is there any interest in it or not? -
We've started having a play with Google Wave at work (Internet company) and it has some amazing potential for what we do (especially when combined with their other online apps like Google Docs). Thing is, there's a forum here which gets used by only a small % of SinS - if you start splitting info across two places (here and wave) you dilute it further and either end up adding info twice or have the situation where people miss info for not reading one or the other.
Could be great for pre/post clan match discussions etc though as it's live. Does it work on PS3 btw (for anyone without a pc)? Not tested it.
Anyhow, I have all 8 of my invites if anyone needs one. Can't reccommend Gmail enough btw.

Ahh yeah, I see your point TBH.
As for it working on the PS3 I just tested it… you get to the log in screen but as soon as you've entered your details and click the log in button....
Major crash lol. So bad that even holding down the power button for 2 seconds doesn't work, (you just get the 3 sharp beeps and nothing happens)
I had to switch it off at the back twice.
I'm guessing the PS3 browser needs updating :S -
