Hey this is a monthly extended warranty plan you can take out on PS3 - it's £4.99 per month and can get you repairs/replacements and such like.
I saw it a while ago and I'm sure you could take it out at any time (even after warranty had expired) but can't see anything that confirms this on the website - they might have changed the deal. Might be worth getting in touch with them and argue the toss.
You can cancel at any time too as long as you give 14 days notice - so might be worth taking it out for a couple of months for a tenner rather than paying £145.
