They actually have a pretty extensive piracy protection. The only drive that can read the game is the Xbox 360 drive. Every other drive sees it as a video DVD. You just have to use an Xbox 360 DVD drive and special software to rip the game.

Give it time…someone will mod the PS3 and copy Blu-Ray discs. Probably when blank ones become cheaper.

PS3 is obviously alot more advanced than the 360, I heard they're getting loads discs for Final Fantasy13 whereas PS3 are only getting one or something! Blu Rays = high capacity

The PS3 was released a full year after the 360. Blu-ray and HD-DVD weren't around when the 360 was released.

The only games you will be playing on it are Gears of war and COD MW 2 right? and maybe Halo..

The reason I suggested you invested in a PS3 is:

1. they are better (value for money and game wise)
2. you're going to miss out on lots of important games due to your love for Microsoft, its pretty lame actually.
