Late last night, Firmware 3.10 went live for the PlayStation 3 and brought a new way to order photos off the XrossMediaBar as well as three Facebook options you might've missed because they're tucked away under Account Management. Earlier this week, Xbox Live launched Facebook on the Xbox 360.
Over there, you're getting the real Facebook; you can post, comment, look at photos, and so on. Here on the PS3, you're getting none of that. What you can do here is post purchase information, game events, and Trophy information to your Facebook profile.

This is true… However, you have always been able to access the "Real" facebook by using the handy little web browser that Sony kindly installed on the PS3 since day 1 of it's release
The 360 is basically trying to play catch up.
PS: It launched last thursday on the PS3, not yesterday :D... tut tut

Mine didn't work.
I don't have facebook and I can't look at my profile,it crashes and gives me an error code. -

One thing that annoyed me after getting 3.10 is that my BBC iPlayer shortcut is missing from the XMB now. It was there before
As for facebook, yeah I'm getting that error too. hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

But it's when we are trying to synchronise the trophies to the server!
It worked for me after press "Synchronise" and then "cancel" when I did it about 15 times right after each other…
But it has to be fixed so we don't have to
