Right now im playing WoW out of sheer boredom and the fact some of my good irl friends play it.
favorites: (dont give a fuck bout links. google it bitch!)
Lineage 2(Got old for me, but I still regard it as one of the best MMOs i have played)
Aion(NCsoft fucked it up with server transfers/merges and pvp reduction in US/EU version)
World of warcraft(no comment)I've played and tried alotta MMOs and those are the ones that stand out so far. I would also try Warhammer online if your not a huge engine fanatic as i am.
Anyways, I'm anxiously waiting for Guild wars 2 right now. it should be out 2011. some say its Quarter 1, but it may be a tiny be further away. I wish i could say it could potentially rival WoW, but that was said about Aion too many times and failed. -
Never played L2…every time I tried patching it (Azure) it wouldn't work.
Even like 3 - 4 years before Azure/Supreme we played ^__^
Just before MSV died we all played.. Weeksause introduced us to it on one of my favourite servers.. it was C2/C3Ironically many years later he played on my server

I can say I have enjoyed Lineage 2 more then any other game ever.

The reason I liked Warhammer's PVP is because you can literally queue up for PVP right after installing the game. The open world PVP is really good too. (I played on an open PVP server so anyone could attack anyone from the opposite realm at any time. Really fun.)

best MMO i ever played would have to be UO (Ultima Online) just cause it was basically the original MMO most today had evolved from that game.
Even at 13 years old it still has a big online gathering. To pay for i wouldnt really rate many MMO's WoW seems to be the favourite but even Blizzard now know its out lived itself, hence why they are bringing out Diablo III even thought they said they would never do another after II.
I could honestly say i would probably never pay for an MMO other than Ultima Online ever!
L2 is fun but it just gets soooooo boring and tedious.UO has it all and you dnt need like 10 other people to help you level you can do it on your own. Just an all around brilliant game, i could think of atlest 200 people who are mmo mad and have played every payed mmo to date who would tell you the same thing i have.

In l2 you can make a character spawn in the noob zone and just walk up to the guy next to you killing elpys and kill him. no other game does that.

Being able to do what the Fuck you want was awesome.
Depending on your gear and what you had to loose you could be such a badass as long as you had a good clan behind you.
There was ALWAYS an egotistical Dagger who loved to kill people at the drop of the hat, every clan theres one

Amazing game, people really fit into there classes and are renowned for there abilities.

Its all good and well to do that when your good enough, how about when your on the recieving end though?
Why do you think its one of the only games that does it (not the only game). The reason MMO's stopped actions like that was becuase they lost customers, new players were getting pissed that they couldnt do anything without getting PK'd all the time.

Thats where Karma came in, and lower level the more Karma.
Thats where clans came in, if you called your clan to ambush them you would gain so much stuffs ;D

yea cry clearly!
Hows AzureL2 doing btw last time i heard it was in the process of closing cause no one wanted to pay for shit!.And even with karma and guilds its still annoying Nate. Again UO had this in a shape or form. Their basis was when you attacked another player you became grey, opening you to attack from any player who would recieve no conseqneces for killing you! When you killed someone you became red (a pk'er) the more people you killed the harder it became to remove your pk status, which meant you had to do more good to get rid of it, Basically an earlier version of the karma system.
when i played UO i was apart of the second biggest guild in the game, the only guild to be involved in the games storyline and the only guild to have their own town. They had sections of the guild for every aspect of the game and when you ran into trouble they would be their in seconds, simply becuase you could set rune stones to take you to any location in the game aslong as it wasnt blocked by another player or a house. not just going to a town then having to move from their by gatekeeper.
i have nothing to cry about becuase i know that UO was and is still a far more superior MMO than L2.
