I bought mine 2 years ago for 200 NOK (20£, 30$) and they work just as perfect!

i guess quality, i never used the turtle beach one, it might have sound in the whole headset itselft with out hearing it from the tv

Not many of us have headsets and it gives you a BIG advantage in COD..
You need to buy a good quality one to hear all the sounds clearly and in the right direction.

I was always many of us, the headsets we are talking about are the full headphones and the mic, its surround sound and with them you can hear where your enemy's are walking way before they are on the radar or see them.

Well about 3 - 4 people in this thread said they are getting one, TV sound is shit compared to a full headset, you can hear steps in full any direction, and with the 'Ninja Pro' perk I can have, I can hear the enemy even louder.
