We got it for PS3, the bugs are not tooooo bad on it, I am having lots of fun, id say the story is more then 5 - 6 hours xD

My friend and i figured it would take 20 months to complete the game if you play full work weeks (40hours) and i answered i could complete it under my christmas holiday (3weeks) if i was up 24/7 and played all the time

Yeah..skyrim is bloody awesome. I Loved Morrowind hated Oblivion though, it seems Bethesda really got their shit together on this Elder Scrolls. Skyrim is the best £30 I've ever spent on a game past 2 years. Oh and a bit of advice, Don't exhaust the main story quest so quickly, it's only around 2-5 hours long. The game is so huge and has so many other rich quality side line quests, as well as lots of other things to do, it adds up to the total 300 hours+. Explore, kill a couple of annoying Nord children…with american accents, steal from the poor give to yourself, pillage a village, fight 2 dragons at once :). Grind out resources, money and loot, You get the point.
I've got to admitt though the game is riddled with some annoying bugs, and the performance could of been petter, the UI is lazily unchanged for the pc version, but as for sheer quality and content it's there and worth the money imo. But don't worry the modding community are so incredible they will help fix this shit and bring out so many awesome mods it'l just double the game's quality. (I'm personally using quite a few awesome mods myself) I'l post the mods I use when I get time later on.
If you havn't got skyrim yet and are thinking of buying it, make sure you got at least a semi good rig to run it...otherwise play it on console (Bethesda are currently making patches to fix all the texture problems out on consoles anyway)

..No I havn't locked myself up in a cave playing skyrim all day…not yet anyway ( I WISH) honestly i'm just really busy with deadlines and work, i've only managed to get around 3 hours a day game time (all dedicated to skryim) After this term finishes and holidays start...then i'll lock my self in my room and play the game properly. But no doubt, the only thing in my mind is skyrim haha... that game is such a breath of fresh air.
LOL you know what I do to immerse myself even more? Since my desk is next to my window...(and it's winter in uk)...i open them up fully let the winter winds rush into my room get really cold, play skyrim AHAHHAHAHAHHA and it feels real LOL im not crazy am i?
but seriously grtz to Bethseda they've shipped 7 million units of skyrim..WOW for an RPG that is incredible...may not beat MW3 but I think it will beat BF3.
here's my modded version of skyrim...(the original look was a bit drab, bit of tweaking one or two new texture looking nice...and will only get better in time)

No i didnt have one i hade like 5 but all of them was gone when i started playing yesterday and i only got 3 saves left two from lvl 1 and one from 19
BTW i play on pc but i know it is an issue on the ps3 too since some of my fríends have been punished by bethesda this way

I realy wanted to believe bethseda could turn it around and rekinddle the light from the good old morrowind days, but alas tis not true.
-Albeit the hard work from the modding community it doesn't change the fact the game is a bad port, but also full of bugs.
-Shallow storylines, shallow personalities, shallow fetch quests, not as memorable as mass effect or Deus ex:hr
-They claimed to add a playable third person view. Lies piss poor third person, (should of presented the same working functionality as in dark souls third person)
-Art Direction was no where near as well established in game, as it was on the original concept art. (just because you copy and paste a million trees and rocks in a sandbox engine doesn't make it nice looking)
-More I stare at the graphics more i realise, the use of poor quality dx9 textures bland towns and colour tones.
-combat mechanics claimed to be improved yet still feel oblivion ish (fake, melee system) (they should've had melee combat like dark souls Hardcore and deep)
=other mechanics such as sneak have not been improved and still seem unauthentic, (not as good as splinter cell)
I probably could go on, but I suppose the point I wanted to get across is that Biased/incompetant games journalism is ruining the industry.
People need to be more objective, the game is not as good as I originally believed it to be.

Damn Right brother i feel that everygame this year except Mw3 has been overaxaderated (spelling?), mostly because everyone has been speeking about nonstop and BF3 was a big fail in my eyees the only reason i dont think that Mw3 is up there is because i didnt watch a single trailer or gameplay about the game yet
