iv just noticed that im a clan officer, just wondering what the difference between a clan member and a clan officer is

Here are the ranks, if you are higher rank you are in-charge technically in-charge of the members in the lower ranks but in reality its Clan Owners are in-charge of everything, Generals are in-charge of Officers and Officers are in-charge of Enlisted.
The rank relates to the colour of the name..
