For a free bit of software it's really quite impressive - nice and quick on the streaming and easy to add tracks to a play list (once you find them). Even if mine has crashed 5 times and lost connection 3 times (ok, first day I'll let it off).

BUT… Sony's showing their usual lack of user-interface skills yet again with some weird and unintuitive flaws. For example...

SEARCHING! When you FINALLY find the page to do this (when a consitent Search button would do), why do I have to enter my artist one letter at a time using a very slow, tedious, up/down 'hi-score' letter selection method? It's fucking stupid, there's a virtual keyboard thing we use for messages etc. why not use that?

Also when I've (slowly) scrolled down through 200 M artists and had a quick look at say, Michael Jackson vids - When I click 'back', I have to scroll (slowly) through the first 200 M artisits again to get to the rest of the list? Why not take me back to the previous results. Stupid and slow. Also, why not assign the analog sticks to this to save me having to move away from the search bar every time I need to scroll through stuff?

There are loads of stupid little oversights like that that really spoil an otherwise great experience and make the whole process of finding what you want and making a playlist a a chore - which really is unforgivable given how old and established this kind of technology (even if it is videos instead of mp3's)

It'll be great when they start updating it to let you add favourite artists etc and stuff like that.

Sorry for being negative, but user interface comes FIRST (I learnt that well as a web designer) - if people can't figure out how to do something, they don't use it and that would be a real shame as I actually think it's the best PS3 addition so far.

Its kinda true although VidZone is going to have more POP music and metal with more then 2 hits (Paramore).

Its going to update, but its going to get the most popular shiz, and i am sad to sad Pop is more Popular.

Vid Zone is awsome quality videos, playlists only the search is a bit tedious and there are some empty folders hopefully more videos will be added daily ah great for them old pop song memories TLC - Scrubs is on
