Resistance 2/KZ2 still popular?

My 360-fanboy bro has finally bought a PS3 after the crushing humilation of seeing GOW3 in all it's glory and we're after some cheap multiplayer games that he doesn't have on 360 (eg COD4 MW2) so we can settle some childhood scores

I thought Resistance 2 was awesome, KZ2 too is great - but anyone know if these games still popular online or are they dead now?

Any other recommendations? - doesn't have to be fps.

Resistance2 is still, online 60V60
Never really took a massive shine to KZ2

amazingly enough resistance 2 is still populated, and of course kz2 has people.

Id recommend Killzone 2 and MAG for stunning PS3 exclusive FPS.

Killzone 2 is unique (console wise) with its classes and MAG has 256 online multiplayer which I am guessing he would never ever have played anything like it before (especially being an xbox guy ;P)

Both of these games also Support more online players then any 360 online game ;o

Thanks for your replies guys, I quite fancy MAG tbh, though he just told me he's got BFBC2 so I might end up with that.

I'll try to get him to sign up to SinS btw.
