In l2 you can make a character spawn in the noob zone and just walk up to the guy next to you killing elpys and kill him. no other game does that.
Its all good and well to do that when your good enough, how about when your on the recieving end though?
Why do you think its one of the only games that does it (not the only game). The reason MMO's stopped actions like that was becuase they lost customers, new players were getting pissed that they couldnt do anything without getting PK'd all the time.

Thats where Karma came in, and lower level the more Karma.
Thats where clans came in, if you called your clan to ambush them you would gain so much stuffs ;D

Hows AzureL2 doing btw last time i heard it was in the process of closing cause no one wanted to pay for shit!.And even with karma and guilds its still annoying Nate. Again UO had this in a shape or form. Their basis was when you attacked another player you became grey, opening you to attack from any player who would recieve no conseqneces for killing you! When you killed someone you became red (a pk'er) the more people you killed the harder it became to remove your pk status, which meant you had to do more good to get rid of it, Basically an earlier version of the karma system.
when i played UO i was apart of the second biggest guild in the game, the only guild to be involved in the games storyline and the only guild to have their own town. They had sections of the guild for every aspect of the game and when you ran into trouble they would be their in seconds, simply becuase you could set rune stones to take you to any location in the game aslong as it wasnt blocked by another player or a house. not just going to a town then having to move from their by gatekeeper.
i have nothing to cry about becuase i know that UO was and is still a far more superior MMO than L2.

NCsoft made the the majority of its money from Lineage 2. its second mmo to WoW playerwise. wtf else do u have to argue about? QQ about your own experience in l2.

i enjoyed l2 alot second best to UO for me, not the second best for players though runescape has more online users than l2.

private servers in l2 did so well that the FBI had to come in and shut them down because ncsoft got mad. so if anything l2 servers are doing too good (at least private servers.)

Haha, that was Shemee's fault in L2 Extreme, I think he faced some Jail time because of it, its mainly because the private server became a business which he didn't pay Taxes on.
But yea FBI was funny, thats when all the Priv servers moved to Russia and other country's out of there jurisdiction ^_^
Orpel you need not complain about your L2 experience because you had a Developer (me) looking out for you all the time, L2 was fun when you had a GM 24/7 on your side no?
As for Azure it is in the top 5 L2 servers of all time, I am proud to have been a part of that, I helped work on C5 source files and invented baium sama, the supreme shield and Custom pets, everything has its end, I am not going to cut myself over it

All in all I don't think Ill ever have more fun then I have had on L2 over about 6 - 7 years (I think its been that long lol)

i never said i didnt enjoy L2 i loved it even when you werent around, just a better laugh when you was their. all im saying is that UO in my opinion (like i said at the beggining) is the best MMO their has ever been.
But when it comes down to it all MMO's are one in the same cause they all originate from the same idea as far as gameplay goes.
