Go here and select Arma II.
Looking at the minimum requirements you shouldn't have a problem running it at low settings, but run the tool anyway.

Only 500$ It was custom made.
you payed too much. 2 GB of ramm is like, windows XP generation. the gfx card is pretty shitty. Wouldn't be able to play any of the decent MMOs coming out. The processor isnt even a dual core, let alone a quad. You must not be into computers too much, as this is not the definition of fast.

You know what, I was told that the guys that built it had a dual core in it.

if that wasnt a laptop, take it back immediately. anyone can build a computer of those specs with hardly $200.
and offtopic:
stock specs because I dont feel like investing in a decent cooling system for OCing.

Well, im not gonna buy a 1000$ Toshiba laptop.
HP, there straight, im not getting it for games, just school.
Get a SONY!

Mine is 2 years old now and cost ยฃ1,100 back then. (About $1,750) It's still going strong.

Get a Lenovo if you're looking for inexpensive. They are owned by IBM and make pretty damn good laptops for the money. I bought my sister one for around $400 with a dual core and 4 gigs of RAM.

If possible, good for gaming?

Where do they sell them? I have never herd of Lenovo.

Not good for gaming, you said you didn't need a gaming computer. A gaming laptop is going to run you about $700-$1000.

Cheapest "gaming" laptop on newegg.

If you want it for gaming, you'll need a dedicated video card. This laptop has one, but it isn't the greatest. For a more robust card you'll need to spend more money.
(Props to me for making this post while drunk and not misspelling anything.)
