You need a decent computer. Their website has the minimum specs. I'll get the link when I'm not on my iPhone.

- CD-ROM drive for installing the HD PVR software
I would say no less than 3GB RAM also.

I got 4gb ram on mine…lol, I taught I had 2gb
Just buy a new computer and check those standars
