I have pretty much every Nintendo handheld up until the original DS. I didn't get the DS lite or anything newer. I don't think I had the Advance SP but that's about it, I had every Game Boy I think.
Now I have an iPhone and a hacked DS that runs emulators. What more do i really need?

Good point made, i mean now days you can get dead spae 2 on the iPhone. why do you need a DS i still have and use my orginal gameboyyou cant knock the classic hand held!!

I had every game boy but no DS its to childish for me, I own a PSP though due to FF games, and the fact it was hacked, its likely ill get the NGP as its has PSN connectivity and PS3 games can be ported (and there engines) to make sub games or whole new games) and I wont allow myself to miss out.
Plus i am a tech geek, and the NGP is an awesome peice of tech ^__^

I bought the DS the day it came out. We used to play Metroid wirelessly in my high school classes lol.

got an r4 (for roms) and an r4i (roms for dsi) but roms are now not legal so i might as well get the 3ds and play remade 3d classics.

I do have to say though Dragon God, Roms are legal if you own the game yourself, your allowed to have a virtual backup of it

If I had the game why would be the point of getting the rom?

It's much easier to just carry one card with a bunch of ROMs on it than having a bunch of game cards…if I had to buy the games in order to rip my own ROMs I would still do it.
