    Cant believe Sony,

My girlfriend has a vaio laptop its 2 years old now and the warranty ran out like 2 weeks ago.
Anyway the wireless button on the front had broke the plastic snapped inside meaning the button wouldnt move.
So i rang sony and they said they could pick it up but wouldnt give me a price…
I eventually got one for £370 they want to fix a fucking piece of plastic 😕.

Safe to say i went sick a the stupid cow told her to shove it up her arse lol.

It's normally the case with laptops, repairs and replacement parts cost a bomb as they are not made to be repaired 😛

Try getting a power adapter also after it goes..

thats why you should always get an extended warranty.

No such luck mate the button broke within the warranty but they said i would still have to pay something to do with it being my fault. Even though the wireless button is the least used button on the laptop.

Currently using a network adapter at the minute but thinking of taking the bottom off and switching the button on =]

Usually a standard warranty covers manufacturers malfunctions. Like your CPU exploding or something. If you drop your laptop off your desk and the screen breaks, you still have to pay for that.

Thats what their saying Bronco but i have never dropped this laptop. in my opinion just shitty manufacturing on Vaio's half cause that button should bever break if im honest it must of been used like 5 times in 2 years i mean once i switch the wireless on i have no reason to switch it off. Only if im having problems connection to my router. meh!
