I've decided to rejoin the gym i'm getting a bit chubby….....I don't like it

    I Think it's been 3 years since I went to the gym, all the stress of work, and lack of free time hinders ones health priorities. I weigh nearly 13 stone…(Holy fuck) Plus over the years my appetite has increased...

    Time for some routine swimming!!!

    Point is exercise is pretty good for the mind as well as the body..

    Yeah I didn't know what else to post.... (kind of obvious advice right?) haha

        Last time i went to a gym it was my school gym and my friend almost lost his hand on one of the machines when it broke down and never been there again
        And yeah do what countach says running in the forest is free and swiming can you do on summers

          …skinny ,dipping in random lakes/ponds would freeze me to death atm, i'd prefer a controlled environment. As for running yeah makes sense. Jogging in the local park is no problem, but I prefer swimming good for back building.as well as cardio, especially since I have to sit at a computer 8-9 hours a day.

          Maybe in the future, when I buy my own house i'll just get a swimming pool lol

            Get some dumbells, and a bench press. Hit the weights ALOT. I have friends who have a shit diet but lift weights alot and have good shape.

              It's alright having the right equipment, but if you haven't got the time or the energy it's pointless and i think a good diet is definitely key. For energy during and growth after…
              Barely ever have the energy having too jobs to exercise anymore, but i go for an occasional jog (3miles)
              Regret getting a second job a bit now.

                nearly 13 stone is nothing. im 13, but i do running and go to the gym more or less every day. muscle weighs more then fat. have you considered just reducing the amount of food you eat?
