I want to start a summer project, any suggestions?

Basically i've had a random urge to do undertake a creative/DIY project in my spare time…
A friend of mine had this crazy notion of wanting to build a boat lol...but I think thats a bit farfetched.
I was thinking of something along the lines of maybe manufacturing my own pc case? or maybe a modifying my ikea desk to house my computer components. (just for fun i suppose)

Hmm, you could make a PC case out of wood
I actually thought about doing this…but I don't think it could handle the temps.
Plus I don't want splinters if I accidentally put my leg up on it while fapping.
