Gamestop's so called "New"

Ok I went up to gamestop today to trade in some of my xbox 360 games and I reserved some games on ps3 and I bought cod4 and cod waw. Now I got a sealed waw but my cod4 was off the shelves and it was a display box that said new. I told them that I would like it sealed and they said it was just as good as new. I then asked them if I went home got a condom in its wrapper and took it out and put it in a ziploc bag like they put the new game in a sleve would they use it….they said no and I asked them why so they gave me a sealed copy and I was on my way. I just cant stand gamestop for trying to pass of this as new its not new!!!!:mad:

Thats why I dont shop with them, they chat pure shit, there saying "dont rely on killzone 2's reviews" trying to say its shit aswell i believe..

If you guys want horror stories about Gamestop's unethical policies, I would be glad to share, between Funcoland,EB, and Gamestop, I was a manager with all of them for almost 10 years… I have some awesome stories and insider info...:)

We don't have gamestop in the UK but it sounds like they are the US version of GAME.

GAME are just as bad with all the pre-owned shit and they are a complete rip off.

I prefer to order online myself

Yeah like I said I got smart w/ them and said would you take a condom that someoen had take out of the wrapper and put in a Ziploc bag and still use it and he said no I said exactly he was a fat idiot lol

we have a few gamestops in belfast (ireland) and i bought a game from there once and it wasnt sealed right and it had at the back of the box bottom right, not to be sold seperately!!!!:mad: dodgey people

Gamestop sucks… I just can't stand that they give already opened games. If they take the game out or open a box and want to put it like "new" on the shelves, they have the machine that wraps the plastic around the boxes so they look like new, but you can tell that it's fake since the plastic is different. I mean, you pay full price for a new game and they give you a a game that is "just like new."

Man... Gamestop is always my last choice when going to shop for games, I must be really in need if I ever walk in that store >_>

around here, gamestop is the only place to get a game, besides bestbuy, but thats still a bit too far as i live about half a mile from a gamestop. i still havent gotten anything bad from them, but i do know to NEVER sell games back to them. they give you like 5-20$ at max for a game. its ridiculous. i would probably order online if there wasnt a gamestop a half mile away that is usually reliable, for me.

I know but I tell ya the best thing for most of us to do is to sell on ebay I always get more than what gamestop gives you….and the only time you get a new game is when its a new release other than that youre gettin shafted lol
