Scanlines could improve it allot idd.. Try with the layer positioning the render (image) and the scanlines just below it.. Ofc, make sure the scanlines are not 100% oppacity..

Just a small hint.. Fully select the render, and use a Feather on it.. It would make the render blend in there a bit more..
And imo.. Just imo.. The border seems a lil bit too thick.. 3px?

Very nice sig dude.. Alltho what Bronco says, the color is a bit sad.. You could try to add some more matching colors to it with some filters or layers/masks..

The site itself is harmless.. Dunno about the /detected…... part tho..

But I feel so honored that it included me aswell.. xD

Why not just work with PS E 8.0..? Wouldn't it be kinda pointless to use 5.0 when you got 8.0?

I think you got your mind quite full with just those programs lol.. It can be quite a hassle to learn another program in the meantime..

If you compare C4D with 3ds MAX then yes it's userfriendly..
Tbh, you just have to get used to it.. It's not a hard to use program.. And ofc it totally depends what you want to make..
Alltho ofc it's far from as userfriendly compared to Photoshop..
I myself want to work in the abstract world.. Which would make C4D an excelent program for.. 3ds MAX and Auto CAD can both do abstract but will be more industrial.. And is ofc harder to work with..
Maya is for landscapes just as Terragen, and that while Terragen is free (it was atleast a few years ago ^^)
So yeh, first decide what kind of style you more or less want, then pick the program.. ^^ It's pretty hard to learn all of them.. I did that once and fucked up big time..

But well I've got no clue how fast you can adapt to a program so it's always worth a try.. ^^
