Heard about this in june, girlfriends dad was on about apple buying massive stocks of small digital cameras big enough to go in the iphone so kinda gathered their would be a new one out this summer xD.

almost all the updates made to the 3gs come with the 3.0 fw update,so my regular 3g will have all that shit too,bar the new camera.

Thats why i love apple,your device should never reeeeally become outdated as its all software thats updated,new bluetooth etc.

I wish that were all true but..

The 3Gs will have voice control, video recording a digital compass (which will help with the new official TomTom ap coming out for it) and the phone itself is 3x faster then the 3G.

Apple are showing it as being 'up to 2x faster' - which in real-world tests means 'probably not really up to twice as fast for most things.' Hopefully the web browsing will render as fast as they claim, I don't use anything else on mine that would require extra speed anyway and fucking tower denfense games are hardly processor intensive anyway

As for pricing, it's looking expensive here through O2 even with the higher priced tariffs - but at least they're allowing internet teathering now so you can rape their internets.

Still, I'd be a liar if I said I didn't want to be in on Apples new high-profile, under-spec'd lauch of another must-have iProduct.

It all depends what you want out of the iphone.

When 3g becomes the economy one it'll sell like crazy,when i get my upgrade next year i'll be getting the 3gS

I mentioned raping 02s internets by tethering your iPhone - well it seems you have to pay for this service on top of your mobile plan - and it's not cheap.

Better off getting a dongle with another company such as 3 which do a £15 for 15GB deal.

One less reason to upgrade to the 3Gs…

Its looking that way isnt it Caesar, its mainly O2 with its fcking monopoly over this phone thats doing it.

With a Jailbroken 3G you can teather the fucking internet anyway, and me and Deths-I-Door found out when I want internet at college.
