Can't find anything on google about it. I'd reformat it.

How would you reformat it? ๐Ÿ™‚

There is software on it that she wants to keep and I don't have the disks for them. Plus I don't have an XP disk. ;(

What kind of software are we talking about?
Cause you can quite easily download and crack that software.
Not to mention downloading a cracked version of Windows =].

Will the notebook not run full stop because of this error though?

What kind of netbook does she have?
I've looked for the .dll she's getting the error for and it doesnt exist on my laptop, pc or netbook :s

          Very odd.

            Truedat.

Format the cunt, and redownload it, plus if its a notebook thats running XO its going to be a slow as shit, a reformat will make it faster also.

Im quite the surprised the person whom sold it to you didn't have the sense to format the hdd himself/herselfโ€ฆ.i'd never want to hand over a laptop which id been handling data on before hand.

Ye looks like a dodgy file, could be anything really virus,spyware,malaware...google doesn't find it either.. Defo should format it.

              • Have you got a Windows installation disk..if so stick it in follow the steps (easy as pie)..
              • As forthe sofrware you sister wants to keep. (write down the name, find it on the net Re download it. Its safer just to start fresh..you really don't know what the owner before had on his laptop or what maybe lurking on it lol..

..May i ask how much you paid for it...laptops are pretty cheap these days..my father got a brand new i3 intel laptop/widescreen for around ยฃ350 brand new...(samsung)

                I don't have a disk no.

It's a dell notebook, 11" thing, was ยฃ80 on eBay. If I reformat it what happens to the hardware? Are they reinstalled through windows?

Hardware stays the same since you cant change it ๐Ÿ™‚
Software gets deleted and a fresh installation of the operating system replaces it.

The program your sister wants to keep can be pirated ๐Ÿ™‚

When the installation is done of the OS just download the newest drivers for the Notebook and you are good to go ๐Ÿ˜„

also, I recomend getting Windows 7 since XP is old as shit
