60GB fucked, ask Sony for a Slim?

Well lets evaluate the situation. it keeps braking so first things first.
Were do you store your ps3, the chance of a ps3 braking increases if its in a small space due to heat or if the ps3 is standing as it can damage the disc.
Second, do you move your ps3 around alot, that may cause your ps3 to brake but its not likly ( i know one person who's ps3 broke because of that)
And finally how do you treat your ps3, when playing games do you get pissed off easily and throw your contollers at the ps3 r like my m8 out the window and almost hitting his dad?

Nope.
I always look after my things, the PS3 is the only thing I own that has ever been replaced. I always clean it and shut it down the correct way. It can't be anything I'm doing.

Anyone think it's worth saving the 60GB for the future, you reckon it will get rare and worth loads? I could get another 60GB and put it back in the box and save it, then buy a Slim?

I dont reckon you'll be a millionaire,you'll have to save it for more than your lifetime for it to be worth loads and the fact that its broke will lower the value.

I meant get the replacement 60GB first then get a slim.
RIGHT, so, I'm thinking of asking for a Slim but I also want a £50 PSN voucher or 2 games or something. As I think a straight swap is not worth it, £249.99 Vs £424.99 ??

The last thing I got was a free Blu Ray player (that I sold for £160) and 4 free Blu Ray movies with my Bravia from John Lewis.
I also got my other last PS3 replaced 1.5 months out of warranty, plus next day pick up.
I price match alot too between different shops and they always beat the price.
